Create a business unit

Once you have defined a number of users in your organization it is a good idea to shape the organization structure to reflect how are you are working in your company. To capture this, we can use the organizational unit called a Business Unit, which is created as follows.

  1. Log in to the portal.

  2. Go to Administration.

  3. Select BUSINESS UNITS.

  4. Click on the button CREATE A NEW BU to enter data (Figure 1).

To create a new business unit you will need to decide a name which will be used to identify it, assign a user to the business unit manager role, Manager, and add a description of the functions of this business unit, as helpful documentation for the future and to others.
5. Save the data or cancel to return to the previous view.
